🌼 *Diabetes and DENTAL/TEETH CARE:* Blood sugar control will also help your body fight any bacterial or fungal infections in your mouth and help relieve dry mouth caused by diabetes. 🍁🍁🍁 Having prolonged high blood glucose levels can se the risk of oral health problems-gum disease. 🌾🌾🌾 To maintain good denday health:  Brushing twice a day, for two to three minutes each time-Brush teeth at night and at one other time in the day; the most important brush is the one at the end of the day ☘️☘️☘️  Use small brushes or floss once a day to remove the plaque from in-between your teeth πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€  Fluoride in toothpaste keeps the teeth strong and prevents dental decay 🌻🌻🌻  To prevent dental decay, reduce the frequency of sugary snacks and carbonated drinks ☘️☘️☘️  After brushing spit out don’t rinse the excess toothpaste away – this will keep fluoride on your teeth 🍁🍁🍁  Water is the only dnight that you should take to bed at night πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚  A timer can be useful to make sure you brush for a full 2 minutes 🌻🌻🌻  Teeth and gums checked by a dentist at least once a year 🌸🌸🌸  Flossing once a day 🌹🌹🌹  Use a soft bristled toothbrush that fits in your mouth easily πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€  Rinsing your mouth with antiseptic mouthwash or a prescription mouthwash after brushing and flossing to kill off bacteria that might thrive in sugary saliva 🌸🌸🌸  Tooth cleaning should be scheduled every 6 months at minimum. Don’t cover it up or place in an enclosed container because the moisture could harbor yeast or bacteria. Replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months and after illness 🌼🌼🌼  Avoid smoking-Smoking impairs blood flow to the gums and slows wound healing in addition to constricting blood vessels resulting in further elevation of blood pressure 🍁🍁🍁  Brush your teeth after every meal.
